DUNDAS NEWS:

Please Don't Flush Wipes!
With toilet paper in short supply at some area stores, some people may be inclined to turn to other sources of paper like baby wipes. If you use those, PLEASE DON’T FLUSH those down the toilet, they will back the sewer system up. Sheltering in place will be much worse if your sewer backs up!

A message from Dick’s Sanitation to Dundas residents:
As the public health pandemic caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) progresses, the health and safety of our employees, families, customers, and communities is our #1 priority. Effective immediately, we are changing our trash, recycling & bulk pick-up services.

In an effort to minimize the exposure and risk to our drivers, trash and recycling outside of the container will not be serviced. All trash must be properly bagged and placed in the container; all recycling must be placed loose in the container. Items outside of the container will be left curbside or in pick-up area until this pandemic is under control and the risk to our employees is minimized.

Additionally, our bulk pick-up service will be suspended until further notice.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these unprecedented times and thank you for your continued business.

City of Dundas and COVID-19
City officials have decided effective immediately in light of the guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and Center for Disease Control to the COVID-19 pandemic:

City Hall is closed to the public until at least April 13. We are still available by phone 507-645-2852 and via email at cityhall@dundas.us during regular business hours. Please use the drop box on the exterior of City Hall to drop off your utility bill payment.

Beginning with the April 13 City Council meeting, Council and Planning Commission meetings will be moved to online/phone meetings. When the Agenda is posted, instructions will be provided for public participation. If residents would like to comment on City Council or Planning Commission items, we recommend emailing cityhall@dundas.us to leave feedback. Comments may be submitted until 4 pm on the date of the meeting. Parks and Recreation Meetings are cancelled until further notice.

The health and safety of all employees and community members is of the utmost importance. With ever increasing COVID-19 concerns, everyone is encouraged to wash hands frequently, stay home if ill and practice social distancing.
