Colleges

Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges are two nationally ranked, four-year liberal arts colleges that bring 5,000 college students to Dundas/Northfield each year.

St. Olaf College

St Olaf College has an outstanding reputation for science and math, but the college is best known for its exceptional music program. The St. Olaf Choir, St. Olaf Orchestra and St. Olaf Band have won international acclaim. The college’s annual Christmas Festival concert, a moving worship service in song, draws thousands to campus each year and is broadcasted all over the world.

Carleton College

Carleton College, often referred to the Harvard of the Midwest, consistently attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other liberal arts colleges in the country. It has consistently inspired students in large numbers to pursue doctoral degrees in laboratory science and mathematics.
